Shares of stock in companies incorporated in The People's Republic of China that are traded in Shanghai and Shenzhen and are quoted in Chinese Renminbi (RMB). By law, mainland residents can invest only in A shares. International investors can also trade these stocks under the China Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII) regulations.
